Mitch Moneo was formerly a senior public health sector executive and has deep expertise in pharmaceutical policy, public drug plan management, laboratory and blood services and health‑system transformation.
As an assistant deputy minister in BC he was known for leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives; negotiating high‑impact drug pricing agreements; and advancing evidence‑informed policy to improve access, affordability and sustainability of provincial programs and services.
Moneo served as chair of the pan Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance and as a Canada Drug Agency Board member, as well as a co-chair of ISPOR’s North American HTA Roundtable. He is recognized for strong leadership, fiscal discipline, and the ability to navigate political, clinical, and industry environments with clarity and diplomacy.
